NETANI TALEI
International Rugby
Born in Suva, Fiji, Netani moved to New Zealand for College/Academy Rugby.
Over the course of his prestigious career Netani has represented his country in both 7s and 15s and had the honour, leading Fiji as Captain. In addition to Netani’s International rugby career which included 3 Rugby World Cups, he went on to play over 200 senior professional club games.
Club Rugby
Having moved to the United Kingdom in 2006 to play for Doncaster Knights, Netani caught the eye of Worcester Warriors the following season.
Following 3 successful seasons for the West Midlands Club, Netani moved north signing with Edinburgh for a further 3 seasons. There he was Nominated in the Top 5 European players 2012 after helping Edinburgh make History by reaching the semi finals of the European Cup.
From there Netani spent a year in Wales at Newport Gwent Dragons before finally finishing his distinguished career with London Outfit Harlequins.

Netani has an impressive track record of taking an athlete’s game to the next level and is a firm believer that “the power of practice will always outperform the misconception of natural talent.” He is known for being a practical joker and you can guarantee your training will be far from boring. “My job is to ensure you enjoy training whilst reaching your goals, whether that be one to one, as part of a group or online.”
Inspired by his family’s military background, Netani has always possessed a disciplined work ethic like no other. “All I ask is for a willing attitude and let me take care of the rest.” In return you can expect a bespoke tailor made training plan, down to earth coaching style, honest feedback and plenty of support and motivation.
PHILOSOPHY - “Time to give back”
Following retirement Netani wanted to put over decade of experience and knowledge to good use, helping others in the Rugby/Health and Fitness industry.
“I will now dedicate my time to helping motivate people achieve their fitness and sporting goals which I am very passionate and excited about.”
Having achieved Level 2 Rugby Coaching (currently undertaking Level 3), Level 4 Strength & Conditioning, Netani is currently looking into finishing his studies for a Degree in S&C, and undertakes a lot of seminars and Workshops by top performance coaches to broaden his knowledge.
